Nora Corbett Little Snowy Gray Cottage

Here is the latest model finish.  This is Nora Corbett/Mirabilia Little Snowy Gray Cottage.  LOTS of Kreinik, beads and furry stuff (Rainbow gallery Artic Rays)  The pictures aren't great because the weather has been overcast here.  The fabric is a brighter blue, Wichelt's 32ct Sea Spray.  This is part of the Snow Globe Village Series.  There are 6 designs so far and I have stitched the first 3.

This is a closeup to show you the beading and Arctic Rays.  It was a relatively quick stitch but I always have trouble getting the Kreinik to lie flat.  I am so thankful it is Friday.  I am just looking forward to a break from the crazy week we had.  Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stitching!

I have to say that these particular designs didn't appeal to me...until I saw the close ups of your stitching. Very well done!

I love these cottages, your's is beautiful. Who are you model stitching for?
Do you know how many there will be in the series. I'd like to stitch them in groups of three on the same fabric.

I just love the cottage! It looks amazing. I'm curious if you are going to have the 6 final designs separately or work them into a one piece. I never can decide what to do with series.

Beautiful work,Nataly!
To get specialty threads to lie flat,a laying tool is really useful.
Or,you can use the eye area of a large needlepoint needle, place it under the thread as you stitch it.I run it a little back and forth
under the thread to straighten it.
Hope that helps!
