Finished!

I have finished Little Snowy Green Cottage by Nora Corbett.  It is stitched on 32ct Sea Spray which is a beautiful blue but we had such dreary weather on the day I took the photo you can't really tell. Below is a close up to show you the Krienek and beading.  Lots of sparkle and bling on this piece.

Next are 4 model ornaments I finished up on Thursday.  I think that finishing requires more patience than stitching because it is done in steps.  I like to finish lots of things in the same day because I already have everything out.  I dont' really have an area where I can leave everything out so I haul it all out and then have to clean it all up.  Very time consuming but I am happy with the final results.

LHN Gingerbread Village on 30ct WDW Tin Roof with recommended threads

LHN Pine Tree Inn on 30ct WDW Tin Roof with recommended threads

LHN Silent Night on 30ct WDW Tin Roof with recommended threads

Lots going on here but I don't have enough time tonight to get into it.  I will try to post in the next couple of days to give you an update.  I want to thank all of my followers and readers for hanging in there.  I truly appreciate all of your comments.  It makes my day when you share what you are thinking and I love the fact that you take the time to read my blog.  Happy Stitching!

Beautiful work. I looked at that piece and didn't go for it but seeing your piece makes it very tempting!

Wow, Nataly. I'm impressed that you managed to make each of the four finishes different. And you technique must be out of this world, cause they all look professionally finished!!! How are you finishing the cottage? It's gorgeous, with all that bling!!

I love your finishes!! I have not been brave enough to trying finishing an ornament of my own yet, but yours truly do inspire me. Silent Night is by far my favourite finish - so lovely!

Congrats on all your finishes! Your ornaments are just too cute and the cottage is wonderful. Extra fun to see, since this is the first time I see that design.
I can totally relate to the "continuous flow manufacturing" finishing approach. I do all my finishing in the kitchen and I'd better have something real to show for parking my ironing board, cutting board, and sewing machine all over the place... :-)

I'll trade you one dreary day for one Texas bright sunny 108 degree day!

Your finishes are gorgeous! I was surprised at how much time finishing takes, I can see why you'd like to do several at once.

I love the cottage, I'd like to stitch all this series and frame them in a multi aperture frame, but I'm not sure how many there will be! I've seen a nice fabric for them...

Was curious to see other houses. I like this one, but the new one will still be in more favour with me.
