Very little stitching

School is out and the stitching has come to a screeching hault.  I have been busy with the boys.  My oldest leaves for Washington, D.C. for the Youth Education Summit.  He is one of 150 students selected from over 1500 applicants to attend the seminar.  He has been busy preparing his debate topics while I have been busy putting his necessary attire together.  When he returns he leaves the same day for Conservation Camp where he serves as a Junior Counselor.  This will be his 4th year as a J.C.  So more clothes to pack up and have at the ready.  His comment to me yesterday was "Hey mom, think you could paint my room while I am gone?" Really??  Anyways, I have only had a couple of hours to stitch and I have been working on CCN Day at the Beach.  I am loving this summertime stitch and hope to get it finished up in time to display soon.

This is the year of smalls selection for last month.  Still calling out to me.  The new selection is posted but I haven't even cracked into last months yet.  I hope to get to this one after working on my WIPs.
I have lots of stitching plans but not enough time to devote to stitching.  Oh well, there really is no hurry.  Just take time to enjoy the stitching.  Have a great day. Happy Stitching!!

Oh, I know all too well how having the boys home can cut into stitching time!! I have barely been able to keep up with blogs, let alone my stitching and putting a post together!! Hope you can squeeze in some time here and there!

Those boys surely keep you busy, Nataly! I actually gave up stitching altogether for 10 years when my boys were at their busiest...

This looks like a very relaxing piece--the perfect summer stitch :) Hope you can find a few moments to work on it each day :)

I feel your pain of having the kids home over the summer, my oldest likes to sit and stitch with me (which means I help her with hers and get none of my own done!)

Wow! I hope you son has a wonderful experience in Washington DC.
Your stitching is wonderful. I know what you mean about it coming to a screeching halt. I was hoping I would have more time to stitch, but the days are really busy!

Your stitching will always be there to help you relax after a long day supporting your boys Nataly :) You're right, stitching should be enjoyable, not a chore. Day at the Beach is looking great!
Best wishes.

Like you I have so many designs I want to stitch but not enough time. I thought that retirement would help but it seems we're even busier. So I just go with the flow, lol!
Love the CCN piece!
