Navigating change isnt always easy

If you read my previous posts you know that I changed positions within the same company.  I am a pharmacist for Stop and Shop-a grocery chain.  My previous position was per diem and it included lots of travel, sometimes more than an hour each way.  It was taking a toll since my days were usually 12 hours plus a commute.  The benefit was that I could choose the days I worked and when hubby travelled I didn't work.  That made it easy as far as managing the boys.
My new position is local but I work more days. I thought I would have all this extra time to do things but the joke is on me.  It's more stressful than ever and working 5 days a week leaves little time to catch up.  What used to be my stitchy days are now loaded with appointments and chores.  An adjustment for sure.
I have done some stitching but not as much as I would like. And forget about finishing, that has taken a backseat to everything else that needs to be done. I finished Year of Hawk Run- Feb and March blocks, I did 2 models for The Drawn Thread which I can't share yet and two tiny pieces--- a LK kit called a Little Grey Hare and Scarlett House---stoneware Street. Here are the pics

Happy Stitching my friends!
Until next time

Beautiful finished, Nataly! A full-time job is a big time suck. I struggle to juggle work, hobbies, relationships and chores. Hang in there!

I am amazed at how much stitching you are actually accomplishing working full-time. Full-time, five days a week is an adjustment. I only started working full-time all year in September and sometimes it is quite difficult. Stick with it and you will get a groove.

Your stitching is gorgeous, as always Nataly, even though time is not cooperating...you are amazing.
Make sure that you take time for yourself, no matter how impossible it may seem...you can't ignore it :)

I love the colours of Year at Hawk Run - they're so vibrant. The fabric that the LK hare is stitched on is such a pretty colour too. Not having enough time to stitch is no fun. 😕

So sorry the job change hasn't given you more free time, Nataly. I only work 2 1/2 days a week and do love my "off" days so much. Hopefully, you'll adjust and somehow carve out more time for yourself...

Love all of your stitching as always :)

Schedule changes are hard. I work 4/10's but always feel like my 3 day weekends aren't enough time to get anything done. Your Year of Hawk Run Hollow is looking lovely.

Nataly - Juggling family, work and a household does get in the way of stitching sometimes. Things will work out and settle down to a routine where you can find stitching time again. My household is going through a lot of changes and I am having a hard time finding time for my stitching as well.

So proud of your blog, I have been out of touch for a while with so much going on in my life and I was lost because of my illness but I'm stronger and I am here to tell you about a natural remedy that is guaranteed to make you wonder why your doctor didn't tell you about it. Then, on the other hand, it is pretty obvious why your doctor didn't, because that's not his job, is it? But, seriously, promise me you won't get too angry with your health practitioner, it's really not their fault. They can only practice what they're told to practice, right? When your health is at risk there's no time for Tom foolery, you've got to get down to the cause and nip it in the bud. So you've been suffering from painful gout attacks have you? Well, allow me to give you a new perspective on the solution to what plagues you I was once in your shoe until my college friend introduce me to Dr Itua herbal center which cure my hiv/herpes,Lymphedema, after drinking it for two weeks as instructed, Dr Itua is an africa herbal doctor who has natural power to cure all human illness diseases I believe Dr Itua so much because he help me cure my hiv/ herpes which has being my burden in life so I promised Dr Itua that I will testify about his work online after curing me and that is what I'm doing here so please if you are sick from those diseases do not hesitate to write Dr Itua Herbal Center On Email: drituaherbalcenter@gmail.com Or chat with him on his online store www.drituaherbalcenter.com
