Just a quick post to share my progress on Diamond Quilts by Handblessings Designs. Have you ever started a project with all the threads you need and mid way through think to yourself, I think I might run out of thread?? Well, this is a SAL design where 3 squares are released quarterly. I stitched the first three squares and started stitching the borders for the next three. When I finished those I looked at the remaining thread Waterflowers Neferetti and thought there is no way I will have enough. I then proceeded to stitch all of the borders instead of the next blocks to be sure I had enough. Well, I indeed had enough with about an 8 inch snippet to spare. Phew!! That was close. Now back to stitching the blocks. I have a little catch up to do but I am enjoying the colors on this one and it is a very easy relaxing project. Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stitching!

Love your squares , so pretty would make a lovely throw with material between each one.
Is this an on going SAL.
Just lovely!
Lovely stiching. Must be quite relaxing (not too many different colours in it)!
Kind greetings,
Ann
So glad you ended up with just enough thread, Nataly--it is looking lovely :)
so sweet x
What a pretty design. I have only had one kit that I ran out of thread. It is very annoying.
Looking forward to seeing your progress.
So pretty
Gorgeous...and lucky you :o)
What a lovely piece! That waterflowers color is beautiful...I'm glad you had enough to finish the borders!
Such a pretty WIP!
So pretty!
It is so pretty.
Looks really great with all these colours.
Glad you ended up with enough thread! It is a lovely piece.
I love this design. It's so pretty!
I recently finished stitching Birds of a Feather by With Thy Needle & Thread. I had a major frogging incident and as a result I ended up squeezing out the last stitch with the final bit of floss! I literally had only little more than an inch left.
