Traveling forward

I managed to finish the ABCD by La D Da over the weekend and mailed it onto the next recipient.  You can follow it's travels to Sherry by visiting her blog. Thanks Peggy for loaning out your chart and thank you Jennifer for organizing this great SAL.

Now back to holiday preparations.  Hanukkah is only 1 week away and I still haven't finished shopping.  I can't really come up with 8 gifts for each of my boys that are reasonably priced.  When they were little, it was easy and I could find things for $10-15 but everything I touch is $50.  I will really have to be creative this year.  I hope you all find some stitching time in the midst of holiday madness.  Happy Stitching!

What a wonderful finish, Nataly--I'll have to remember that pretty green color!

I can't imagine finding 8 reasonably priced gifts for growing boys! The older mine get the fewer gifts they get because the gifts cost more. Good luck with your shopping and Happy Hanukkah :)

Boys are so hard to buy for aren't they?

That was a really quick finish, and it turned out gorgeous. I'm looking forward to seeing the next stitcher's version.

Good luck with the gifts for the boys, I'm curious to see what your creativity comes up with.

Love your version of the Traveling Pattern!

Happy (early) Hanukkah! I'm not ready yet either, but at least I dont have to worry about 8 gifts per person! We gave that up years ago along with opening one every night. It was just too hard to get everyone together and we convinced our parents to let us open everything one the first night.

I'm not ready for Christmas with DH's family either, but at least I have more time! :)
